Mr. and Mrs. Ingco is at it again! A lovely couple who are balikbayans from Finland shares another place for us to dine and relax.
JI Coffeeshop is located at the back of Mang Pang, a Filipino restaurant at tionko St., Davao City, both owned by the Ingco's.
I see the coffee shop as a "secret hideout", that's why I instantly fell inlove with the place. It is an ideal spot if you need a quiet time to study or to have personal meetings with friends, because it is hidden from the noisy city.
Apart from that, their food selections are also good! They have 3 choices of pastas, 6 different types of sandwiches, a wide array of blends, cakes, burgers, and a lot more!
My personal favorite set would be the dark chocolate overload paired with ji mini burgers; and probably would add a creamy lasagna on my cheat days. (haha) The combination of sweet, salty, and flavorful, will surely spark the foodie in you! I tell you, their patties are really awesome! Not only that, the bread they use for their burgers and pasta accompaniments are either wheat or gourmet - wise choice.
JI Coffeeshop is also the first coffee shop in Davao City that accepts bitcoin/cryptocurrency as payment.
