Zut Alors! I have missed one!

This restaurant reminds me of the line that chef whose singing Le Poissons in The Little Mermaid said, "Zut Alors! I have missed one!". No, you won't be seeing a hermit crab named Sebastian running around their kitchen but because of their array of seafoods that I am pretty sure will also make you think about not leaving one out.

Prawns, white squids, shells, and of course crabs!! These are some of the fresh seafood you will be seeing at Obrero Seafood & Paluto. Basically, you point out the fresh seafood that you like and choose how it is prepared. Simple is that!

How about some crispy calamari? Tinolang bangus perhaps? or some cheesy baked scallops? The possibilities are endless! What's great about it is that you will be able to pick the amount of each seafood you desire to be added on your set. You could also choose the one's that you think are the freshest or the heaviest among the spread - it is as if you are in a wet market on a Sunday morning. Most of their seafood are imports from Samar, Leyte together with a few that are bought locally.

Each type of seafood costs differently and are weighed per kilo. This is a great way for you to maximize your budget.

Okay yes, you are guaranteed of every bit of the ocean's freshness and also the power to have as many or as little as you want of each critter, but the question is, how does their food taste? Well, as someone who is a seafood lover I can attest that Obrero Seafood & Paluto cooks one of the bests. I really liked how each plate is seasoned generously. Food were not too salty nor too sweet, they were just right for my taste. Examples would be the Tom Yum Soup, Stir fried Sarad, and their Sambal rice, my favorites among the bunch. I also loved the Kueh Pie Tee, a Peranakan appetizer, the crispy tart shell si contrasting its soft filling made-up of shrimp and vegetables. If you've been reading my blog posts you would be able to notice how I really like food with playful textures.

Obrero Seafood & Paluto does not only boast good food and quality service, but also have one of the most important key ingredient of all - love. The passion given to each plate oozes in every bite. Thus creates a romantic gastronomous experience. I commend the amazing people behind obrero seafood & paluto for a job well done, continue filling our happy tummies.
